I have many female friends online and we both understand that all we can ever be is friends. Sure there is some flirting going on but I respect boundaries. I understand that several women I talk to are in great relationships. Even if they were single they live so far away and the chance of me ever hooking up with them is so microscopic that it doesn't phase me at all. As a man it's just fascinating for me to try and decipher how the female mind works, what makes them tick, what their dreams, goals, and ambitions are, how they feel about literally any topic I can think of. Even if I get nothing out of it, the action is intrinsically the reward itself.
