    In the UK, most stores won’t prosecute if what you steal has a value of less than £50 plus security cameras aren’t actively monitored so they wouldn’t check unless they suspected I was stealing, which they never do.

      Same in the US. We also have a “no chase” policy in most grocery stores for employees safety.
