I think from what I know is that a beard too long makes a man look too scruffy and unattractive to women, and a clean shaven face makes a man look not masculine enough, kind of pretty boy and that's not a turn on to women either. Heavy stubble or even a light beard is what it seems women fall for the most, like whenever you see a rugged looking guy that you hear women say is hot, he almost always has stubble or a light beard (1 to 2 weeks without shaving).
