I do see this a lot in some of my friend's relationships. Instead of cooking, they bring home something from taco bell. It's not the old days though where only the male has to work to support both of them. I guess it does depend on the woman though. I cooked for my bf pretty much every day while he would be at the gym. I'd text him on my home from work just to see what time he'd be home. After that was cleaned up, I'd make him lunch as well for the next day...then sex..then homework time for me while he went to sleep. This worked and I actually really enjoyed it mutually taking care of each other. I guess my message in this is don't give up hope. Not all women have lost the instinct to stay in the kitchen lol. I see where you're coming from though.
