  • Interesting. I'm not going to say you are wrong, I actually think that you argue your point very well, but I think a lot of men actually *like* it this way. A lot of men would prefer a strong, independant woman, but also like the feeling of being the main provider. For example, a lot of men *like*, if they can afford to, to pay for things for their girl, it gives them a sense of control and general "manliness".

    I agree with you this philosophy is hypocritical and a general bad thing, and I believe that sexism in both directions exists in society. All these questions about equal rights are great, but it is often impossible to find a solution. For example, in the "forced fatherhood" arguement, I agree that forced fatherhood is wrong, but in many cases it is either forced fatherhood or forced abortion, and we have to choose one as the lesser of two evils.

    Please, correct me if I've got something wrong or if you disagree.
