    Taller than me, shorter than 5'6". I don't want to look like we escaped from the circus or he's kidnapping me.

      I'm not judging your preference, but I never got the whole "my boyfriend must be taller than me" thing. Is there a reason for it?

        I'm only 5'1, so if a guy was shorter than me he'd have to be really short and I don't know if I'd be comfortable with that. But I if I really cared about a guy, nothing would change that. So, I prefer someone taller than me, but it isn't a hard rule.

        When I was a kid my first celebrity crush was Shaggy from Scooby Doo. I wanted a tall guy. Then I became tall so I wanted a really tall guy. So for me it's an aesthetic thing. If there is a man shorter than me and we got along wonderfully the height wouldn't be a problem.

        I can't speak for other girls but I heard some say that tall guys make them feel "safer"

    I voted 6' to 6'8, because my fiancé is very tall, but I wouldn't say that's my preference, really. I just happen to love a man who happens to be almost cartoonishly tall.

    By the way, where's the option for people who like guys above 6'8?

        Because your fiance is 6'6"? I saw a comment of yours about that. I'll never understand why I remember the most useless information. *sigh* but I do like em tall. Years ago my friend who is 5'3" had a boyfriend who was 6'9"! Whoa! He had a tiny car too. He should have removed the drivers seat and just sat on the back seat haha

          Yes! Also, how does he fit in his car? I mean, you don't need a huge car to fit a tall guy into, but it's definitely an issue when car shopping.

          Oh, and I didn't even remember I'd mentioned that.

    I've honestly liked all of them. However, I definitely prefer them to be taller than me, and there are only a couple of exceptions to that.

    I'm not sure I have a preference though, since being very tall wouldn't suit certain builds, and vice versa. And I love all sorts of body type. As someone who is 5'6", I'll say that my preference starts at 5'8" and anywhere after that is usually lovely:). As long as they don't get freakishly tall to the point where it hurts my neck to look at their face then I'm fine:P.

        To be honest I'm not really sure where my preference cuts off. When I said freakishly tall I had that guy who's like over 7 foot in mind, although that's very rare. I'm sorry if that includes your boyfriend, it didn't mean to cause offense.:)

    I'm 5'6.5 and not picky about height as long as they're not down to my knees, or nearly touching my ceiling. Its ok if they're a little bit shorter, the same height, or a little bit taller. I don't mind.

    I'm about 5'4" so anything over that is fine. I have dated everything between 4'6"-6'8" and I definitely prefer a guy that is at least a few inches taller than me.

        He was disabled and in a wheelchair, he had some sort of disability where his mind was perfectly in tact but his body was stunted, he could communicate but had a speech disorder. He also had fabulous upper body strength and was very intelligent.

        Not palsy, but I can't remember. Either way, he was really cool and had a great sense of humor and not bad looking. He was also good with a guitar. Too bad he was fucking prick.

    It's between average and short. I'm only 5' 1' myself so I like "fun sized" guys considering we can litally see eye to eye..I Plus, I think their really cute. But tall guys are way too tall for me. I can't even see his face.

    Well I'm pretty tall for a girl. So it would be nice to have someone a little bit taller than me. At least 5'11" or 6'0".

    What happened to 5ft 11?! That's my ideal height!

    Really though, I don't mind. Preferably taller than me (so over 5ft 5) but height doesn't really bother me.

    It really doesn't matter to me, you cant get em smaller than me anyways.

    I am 1,66m and my boyfriend is 1,82m. Works fine for us.
