I was married for over 20 years and for 15 of them my husband hardly ever made love to me, so i turned to someone else. What i should of done was leave him but i did really love him and we had 3 lovely kids but unfortunately because i had an affair it made me feel less of a person and because my husband's treatment it left me feeling worthless.
i am now out of those relationships and with someone who loves me truly and i've never been happier and i can honestly say having an affair was the worse thing i ever did and i would never do it again
having an affair is so cheap... so i agree with you.
I'm firmly against cheating but if your man(or woman) is not "doing" you then i can at least see a strong reason why you did what you did. (was he working too much or just never in mood?)
As you said you should have left him before coming to the point of having an affair.
Some women have no problem with their man doing some other chick if they have lost their sex drive as they know men separate their emotions from sex. This ofc doesn't apply for men as they would never accept it and also women rarely can separate the 2(not to mention unlike in your case, men don't really lose their sex drive.) Ofc all this paragraph is NOT a healthy solution and is NOT recommended but its just a solution some may consider.
