Women are taking over

Is it normal I believe women will take over and rule the world. We are more balanced in our judgments and already exceed men in educational success. We have in the past few decades come from a position of being absolutely dominated and controlled by men to having equal rights laws in most parts of the world.

Unfortunately many men still try to discriminate against women and so we continue to fight for equality. I believe that over time we will conquered men in this battle, but because they will want to keep fighting to dominate us, in the end we will only be able to win our equality fight by becoming the dominant gender ourselves. I believe in time this is a fight we can and will win. The result will be that men will become dominated and controlled by women in much the same way women were controlled by men in the past.

I think men and women will eventually live as equals. 22
I think men will eventually take back control and dominate women again. 10
I think men and women will battle for gender power for the rest of eternity. 20
I think women will eventually take over the world. 6
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • If you battle for equality then you say you want women to win, that isn't really equality, isn't it?
Cant stand feminazis. Feminists rock, but feminazis are socks

Exactly! Because of people like this post's author, others tend to think that this is what feminism is, which is misleading. It's not about revange or taking over the world, but about equality.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Equality isn't about trying to get even. I sense that you want revenge.

The way modern, third wave Feminists get all bent out of shape about supposed microaggressions is all a bunch of bunk. Feminists ought to focus more on equality, and the wellbeing of oppressed women in third world countries than having ambitions of taking over the world, and dominating the way they believe men once did.

      This^

Getting upset at men for spreading out their legs to make room for their junk, while women in backwater muslim countries are beaten, abused and stoned to death on a daily basis is beyond moronic.

Equality isn't about putting more women in high power positions. You don't become a CEO, just cause you have a dick, or a vagina... Getting a position in management (often) requires skill, determination and a lot of hard work. Women are able to do this on their own, but making demands, where businesses have to have X-amount of women in whatever position is just bullshit.

And let's not mention why it's always about more women CEOs, lawyers, stock brokers, etc and not truck drivers, warehouse workers, construction workers and other "low class" jobs...
Life in a western, civilized country for anyone who isn't a lazy piece of shit is normal and they can have a career and be successful.
Life for many women in 3rd world countries is HELL!

What are the feminists gonna do about that?

This is going to be one of the comments where I get accused of being a weird old man role playing as a 19y/o girl but I put that I think men will take back control. Men are the naturally stronger and more dominant gender and given how insane the far left is going recently, I don’t think people will put up with it for much longer. I think we have an ultra right wing revolution of the horizon, including an absolute return to patriarchy.

One major war and this whole skin color/gender facade will come crashing down. We're so spoiled we're creating fake problems.

No. Like bigbudchonger said, the military is where the ultimate power lies, and women will never take over that.

Women won't win, you guys, by and large, can't make hard nosed descisions. Also, you'll never be dominant in areas like the armed forces which is where power ultimately lies.

Women are naturally more nurturing. Not all of them are but the average is. Sometimes you need to do rough things that benefit the collective but will also hurt some people. Theres absolutely no way around it sometimes it must be done. This is something that women have a hard time doing and men excell at.

I think we need to hold up on encouraging exclusively women to seek college. Everyone should be encouraged to go to college IF they are in a career that REQUIRES IT.

Just because there isnt enough females in an industry doesnt mean its sexist. How many nurses in training are female vs males? It's not sexist to do the jobs you wanna do. Females tend to stick to the humanities and people person jobs and male tend to stick to material jobs. Just so happens material jobs make more money vs social jobs. Material jobs are also way more likely to require full time and a less flexible schedule making child bearing difficult in the career. Is it sexist? No that's just how the industry works.

  • "We have in the past few decades come from a position of being absolutely dominated and controlled by men to having equal rights laws in most parts of the world."

    1) On average, women still paid 20-30% less than men. That is NOT equal.
    2) Systemic gender inequality still exists in developed nations, and in poorer countries, women are routinely raped then stoned to death for it!
    3) Because women give birth, they will always be disadvantaged when pregnant and afterward making them reliant on A LOT of outside help, which men are not beholden to, especially when they can just walk away, often without consequence. In countries without birth control (hell, even in countries WITH it) impoverished women and young girls have few (if any) paths out of poverty once they've become impregnated.
    4) Women are still underrepresented in the political arena of all countries. Look at governing bodies. Are they half female?? No, not even close. It's still very much a patriarch the world over.
    5) Legislation upholding the status of women as property still exists today! And woman are constantly represented as objects for sexual gratification that can be bought &/or sold. Does that seem equal to you?
    6) "most parts of the world" does not include the most women. There are FAR MORE women suffering horrific standards of living than women who don't. BILLIONS of women suffer human rights violations as a way of life.
    7) Are you a man??
