I like posole. Making it tomorrow. Red posole particularly. Whats your winter food?
Never heard of posole so I looked it up... it looks delicious. Gonna have to make that sometime.
Can't go wrong with soups and stews but I love casseroles and steak and burgers and all that good stuff too.
If you like hot and flavorful food then posole is for you. Of course you can always tone down the heat if you like.
Tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich is totally awesome!
Grilled cheese and baby pickles are the best.

It never gets cold where I live now, but when I lived in the UK I would make a hearty beef stew on a cold day. A well made beef stew is fucking heaven.
I love any kind of soup.
For some reason, my mushroom risotto flavoured with a little dried porcini and chicken breasts with a simple butter and lemon sauce has become a traditional winter meal in our house.
We don't really eat that much differently in the winter, though. Slightly fewer salads is the only major change.

Chili with lots of meat and beans. Then it's Irish stew for a close second. Well actually a tie for first.

I live in the tropics (Thailand) we don't have winter.
