Ask Your Question
Will you ever be comfortable eating at a sit-down restaurant again after coronavirus?
Never eating pangolin & bat soup again
Why the hell not?! When the whole corona thing blows over, I'm looking forward to eating out with my girlfriend. Even wanna go to the Chinese restaurant. Peking duck is tasty af!
Also looking forward to shopping at a supermarket and not seeing idiots hoarding toilet paper! I managed to buy a pack today, the last one... Fought a woman who already had 4 packs in her shopping cart for it! Won't be buying another until this one is down to 3 rolls!
The shops in my town aren't getting enough toilet paper delivered to them. Every single shop has limited it to one pack of toilet paper per person. It helps more people get their hands on it and stops the hoarders from taking all of it.
In the store I work at there's a long line of people waiting outside before the store opens. The store opens at 8am and people wait as early as 6am in hopes to get toilet paper and other essentials. I was lucky to get my hands on a pack of toilet paper today. XD
Funny how the most basic hygiene item is now something you have to fight for.
I work in a store too and yep, people hoard dumb shit. No shit paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer...
Where I work, I help sort and restock inventory. The area with sanitizing wipes - I used to have to cram the shelf with a few too many just so we wouldn't have an entire box with ONE canister. Now, that shelf has been empty empty for some time.
I have a feeling that being a hoarder is going to be the next type of person everyone hates. Right now they are only one rank above a thief.
It's pretty annoying that I have to try so hard to get one pack of toilet paper. I had to wait outside in line in the dang rain with the customers to get that pack(its fair in that regard). I still don't get what these hoarders were thinking.
When the Coronavirus is no longer a threat, they're probably going to rush into stores attempting to return all their unneeded supplies. My friend works at Costco and he was telling me that they're not accepting returns for most of the essential items people panic bought. The first thing I thought was "good!"
The hoarders are the people who think "There will be none to purchase because the hoarders will buy it all." Because of this thought, they become hoarders and when they find that people can't buy toilet paper, it makes them feel like they avoided the problem even though they were the ones who caused it to begin with.
I would love to work at the returns counter and tell people to fuck off.
Lol. My friend told me that some of these hoarders maxed out their credit cards to get these supplies. They are so fucked! XD
I will be eating at one today, lol
Ya mate I go panda Express very close to then I might have seen ya
There was literally no one in. How was yours?
IHOP was open, but they weren't doing dine in orders. We had to order our food and take it home. The burger, fries, onion rings, and pancakes were still delicious! XD
Probably wont eat chinese again!
People avoid restaurants because of coronavirus but are happy to poison their bodies with the fried, grease-soaked shit most restaurants serve. Why are humans so backwards?
So you're telling me french fries are more dangerous than a virus?
French fries are high in acrylamide, which is a known carcinogen. They may not kill you straight away but they'll definitely help you along if you eat enough of them.
That's what my flat-earther, anti-vaxxer coworker says, anyway.
Ya wouldn't be long gettin frostbit
Had subs delivered to the house last night. Had some fries and fries mushrooms at a Caribbean joint earlier that day. Sunday I had a fat ass Chicken biscuit covered in gravy a couple bloody Mary’s and a mimosa sampler. I’ll be going to work tomorrow morning.
Chicken biscuits with gray! 🤠
I still do. I dont freak out over stupid bullshit. Now what is horrifying is some of the mouths that those silverware go into. I really needed to get my own travel stuff
My restaurant has been offering individually wrapped Togo utensils from the jump of this mess. Feel free to ask where ever you go.
That's awesome. I litterrly just bought a breakfast pizza from my local gas station. My jaw litterly dropped when I saw it! I'm not scared of this corona stuff. Besides if I catch it the 2 week quarantine will be a paid vacation since my job will cover my normal wages in full. The only bad thing is I'll be sick and wont be able to see my man
If you’ve been around him, y’all have already shared whatever y’all have. I’m not super worried either. I’ll make a post in a few days asking whose caught it yet. Lol.
After this whole coronavirus clusterfuck is officially confirmed over, then sure.
Yes, just like I did with the Swine Flu & Ebola outbrakes.
It can't spread via food.
Also the corona virus outbreak is only temporary.
I can't spread via food, but it can spread from the other people around you.
if someone sick prepares your food, you can be infected from eating the food...
Even on surfaces like plastic and steel, it can survive for 2-3 days.
It can't spread via food...? Are you kidding me?
yeah, wtf.. of course it can spread through food
also this virus is gonna be around for years, not months
There was a fuck ton of deadly viruses before this "omg we all are gonna die" flu. Tuberculosis, Hepatitis and ect. Name it! So why the fuck not babe?
I'll stick to 7-eleven mass produced sandwiches, and eat them near a dumpster or something.
Yes of course. What bafoon would never eat again. Heck I'd visit Wuhan and have bat soup.
I wont judge.
You're entitled to your opinion.
But, for me. That's a stupid question.
I go in almost daily, if only for coffee.
I will certainly return to business as usual as soon as possible.
