  • Hi! And I feel like I’m still being told two different things.

    So if I burnt more calories than I ate.... but what I did eat was only fat and carbs I wouldn’t lose weight ?

    • You would lose weight but it would be mostly muscle mass. You'd be skinny but weak and unhealthy

    • You are looking at it the wrong way. You want to use the calories you consume, not just burn them. The fat slows down the burn rate of carbs so your energy will last longer and you will have a better workout. Carbs aren't inherently bad for you, but you only need them if you plan to use that energy.

      There is no simple formula for all people. You still have to put out more than you consume, but you need the energy to actually move your body.

      Try not to focus on the food so much. Eat whole food and exercise regularly and you will lose weight...but only if you actually need to.

      • It’s because I’ve got a Fitbit and I am currently ‘burning’ or using more calories than I’m putting in
