  • How bad is it? My very first experience was quite horrible in this respect, and I can only describe it as the smell of rotten oysters soaking in raw sewage. It smelled worse than death itself. It took me a VERY long time to find information on what caused the smell to be so extremely repulsive, so I'll pass it along.

    Trimethylaminuria, or TMAU:

The worst part about it for people with this condition is that it's genetic and has nothing to do with their hygiene, but much more to do with their diet. I'm sure anyone suffering from constant problems with this will be very grateful for this information. It will help them find ways of dealing with the problem. BTW, believe it or not, men can have this too.

And for reference, it IS possible for a woman (without this condition) to not have any smell whatsoever, even while being physically active. This actually came as a shock to me the first time I experienced it, but the evidence was right there in my face, and it was great!
