I don't understand why people created bad words in the first place. If we weren't meant to say them, why do we have them?

The same reason for every other word there is: To portray something. We need these words to communicate, share our thoughts and feelings. We have "bad" words because humans have bad thoughts. We aren't perfect.

I cuss all the fucking time... Does that mean I am a fucking idiot? Fuck NO. Sometimes cuss words describe how you are feeling at the moment.(sex,anger,joke)That's all I have to fucking say.
Um why do you think they put heaps more bad stuff on the news? because it makes the world more interesting

There was a show here in Australia called "Sleek Geeks" - lots of science-y stuff. I don't remember the specifics of this but this was the gist of it:
They got people to use different words when they hurt themselves - one group swore and the other group used words to describe a table ("FORMICA!!"). Those who swore were meant to cope with the pain better/get over the pain quicker. I forget which it was.
I know I feel better quicker if I swear my head off after hurting myself :)
