When we are young, we think we are in love and want to spend the rest of our days with someone. The "in love" feeling is just mother nature trying to get us to reproduce before we realize the pile of poop we just stepped in.
That is why there are so many divorces.
At some point, most of us have fallen in love. Then later on we are like, "What was I thinking?! Ugh!"

Who the hell knows but sadly enough they are not immune to the delusions of "being in love" either.
