Don't be surprised when their friends want you to pay their way, too. Be prepared to get bombarded with a lot of personal questions like why you're in your 30's and don't have kids.

I'll get back into the scene when I move to Thailand in January to go teach. One thing I ascertained is I'm living in the wrong city.
