You obviously know nothing about history: even in "advanced" western countries women didn't even have the vote until about a hundred years ago and that wasn't handed to women on a plate, they had to fight hard for it.

In Britain women got the vote about ten years after the average man (ie not a land owner) got the vote.

So that would be why British women had to agitate for the vote from late in the 19th century until after WWI, would it?
