  • Also he did away with email registration altogether, same as reddit; but unlike reddit he can't seem to moderate for shit, so that doesn't seem like a great idea

    • Wtf.

He told me in email he'd put in all these anti troll measures...

Having to verify email would have to be like...the most basic level of anti troll shit you can do...and he can't even get that right.

      Fuck he's an ubertard.

      • Exactly, I thought that'd be like the first thing on his list. I mean it might've been a nice feature to have email be optional, if he actually had decent moderation.

A lot of sites just have volunteers with a good track-record, who are glad to work for free, that would honestly be way better at it than his paid(?) ones.

      • E-mail verification allows the NSA to track you. Just cuz you live in Australia, don't think ASIO doesn't have volumes of AI edited shit about you. You're just putting yourself on the elimination list for the freedom police.

    • Nothing has changed regarding emails and registration, what do you mean?

      • Ah, it's back now.

The point still stands, though. A valid email is not required.

I guess that's all I can say for now, since it's not letting me post the full comment for whatever reason (new filter? time limit on commenting?)

      • They're making shit up just to complain. I'm sure it'll be better once you finish whatever it is you're doing.
