The same reason people have blonde hair. It's genetics. I grew up with people who turned out to be gay and also have gay friends now. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that they were born gay, were always going to grow up gay, and that there's nothing stranger about it than the colour of someone's hair.

well... if you think of it its exactly the same as saying why are people strait. its just the way they are. and it is definitely not a choice. some people commit suicide because they are gay. if it was a choice then they would of simply not kill them selves but just changed their minds.

I believe it could happen for many reasons. So making us choose just one is impossible. Its not very open to all the possibilities. You can to a country different ways. Saying you can only fly is not true.

I think some cases it is circumstances like when they were raped, I think some cases maybe they were born that way and I think sometimes it was influenced as they may see it in media and thought it was cool . I do not think it is the same in every case and it can not always be they were born that way becuase it would mean poeple who were raped and become gay were already gay to begin with .

Ok, first of all, I'm a rape survivor, so back the fuck off with your "anyone who is raped is messed up in the head" bullshit. Now that that's out of the way, do you have any examples of people saying this? Because every example I've seen has been people saying "You're only a lesbian because you've had bad experiences with men", not "I'm a lesbian because I was raped by a man" (or gay because I was raped by a woman).
Also, sexual orientation isn't about who you have sex with, it's about who you're attracted to and how you identify. Somebody who's straight can have sexual experiences with the same gender, for instance, for a variety of reasons (unavailability of people of the preferred gender, experimentation, etc), but you can't decide to be attracted to people who you're not attracted to, no matter how scared you are of the other gender.

than why do these poeple keep saying they are gay after the incident ? Also I am not saying all of them turn out that way but a sinificiant amount claim they are and I know alot of poeple are geneticly gay to begin with . I do have examples I have had freinds who were raped and after they siad they were to scarred to even be near a man but still wanted sex and they were so confused and wanted sex but they could not get it from men and so they went to women becuase they siad they fealt safer in a womens arm and they could still furfill the sexual gradifacation and I have had alot of freinds with issues like this in the past . I have known alot of poeple with these issues or who were raped by there parents. I have also heard from rape victems that they want sex with a man but from the expierence they can not do it anymore but still have sexual urges and so they get girlfreinds . No I do not think all are gay do to circumstances and no I do not think all raped victems end up this way . I just state this from storys I hear from auctual rape victems who now claim they are gay from the expierience so i am not making this up . Also I do not think its so clean cut I think it streams from diffrent circumstances .

Forgive me for not being convinced by these "friends" and "stories you hear" of rape victims turning into lesbians. If you can find somebody online saying that this happened to then, I might be less skeptical.
Again, it's quite possible for a bisexual to decide not to have sex with the opposite gender because of a traumatic experience, and it's perfectly acceptable for such a person to identify as gay or a lesbian. I'm not contesting that. But straight people can't decide to be gay (no matter what they've been through) any more than gay people can decide to be straight.

Did i say nuture! I meant nature sorry! Also mens hair grow in a distinct spiral pattern, and for gay men, this grows in an anticlockwise pattern and vice versa for straight men ( dont know about bis) its an (almost) surefire way to out someone!

Nature shows it plainly that homosexuality is not designed. Statistics show it plainly that homosexuality is not healthy. Homosexuals show it plainly that it is not beneficial to society.
Wisdom shows us what is plain, the real problem is people want to do what they want to do, even when it is wrong. It's been going on since the beginning of time.
The last verse here says that "they know the judgement of God." Everyone has been given a basic scale in the heart to measure right and wrong. Even if we were to "omit" homosexuality out of the equation, everyone would still be caught by their own words and found guilty of doing wrong. Doing good deeds do not erase the wrongs we have done, they only cover them up. The problem here is, heaven is heaven because everyone there is sin-free.
