Why is light skin considered less attractive than darker skin?

I have always had a thing for white men but I hear its a thing that they prefer darker girls. Its kinda shallow and its like me saying "oh I like white men but only the pale freckle faced ones" lol

    I don't think any race of men are that picky tbh. If you work out, take care of your skin and grow your hair fairly long, they'll be into it.

    Globally and historically, lighter skin is rarer. The more rare the more prized.
