Why is jinxing a bad habit?

I jinx all the time and achieve all my goals. Yes, it's not particularly social, but it does what it's supposed to do to the exact degree that I want it to. Who cares about stupid treacherous fringes, right?

    Because if you believe in that stuff it will ultimately eat you up. I had a crazy old aunt that used tp practice Italian “malochio” or evil eye, and eventually went nuts and killed herself.
