Its good for some people in not going crazy or depressed, to have something after life and believe you are loved and all is good or to explain certain things. It can also be just your thoughts that wish for something and in that way make it come true for yourself.
But as greedy as humans are we messed up. We are simply not evolved enough and not wise at all
We all have morals anyways, none believer or believer. Well except some few
It does work without religion and it can work with
And when you look into something like Shintoism, it’s actually really nice because you learn respecting your surroundings. Like really, some have nice things
