Because life is a struggle and who would want to spend a lifetime struggling for no reason? I know life has meaning and there is a reason for our struggles, but I sometimes worry the reason isn't big enough. However, even if my reason is simply to raise my daughter to go a little further in life than myself, and I succeed, I will be happy.
