    They will never be uplifted. We nice westerners are giving them jobs, but robots are becoming so precise, so quickly that in 10 years they will all be unemployed raping and murdering each other again. Get back to your sewing machine and keep making tee shirts for 35 cents and hour. And, be happy about it.
