Why don't pictures arouse me as much as videos do?

It's that simple, i can't get as aroused by pictures anymore. I love looking at celebrity fakes and they get me horny, but not nearly as much as when i watch pornographic videos. Why is this? and is it normal?

    Because your brain is already spoiled with the vast quantities of data intake that higher internet speeds allow for. Video is more immersing as well. Why would you just view pictures when you can easily take in so much more?

    drawing --> photo --> video --> real person

        The person asked about visual stimulation specifically but yes, other kinds of stimulation also exist. Reading, using one's imagination, etc. How that fits into the order of things is probably more dependent on the individual and so it's less likely that anything I say is true for the majority.

    Maybe you don't watch the right kind of pictures. Everyone has a different taste in porn and you should find your own taste. What do you like?

    Also with a picture you got to use your imagination, you got to fantasize about what's happening. You got to create your own porn movie in your head. Maybe that's too difficult for you.
