Yes, prices have gone up rapidly. There was a price bump with corona, but prices skyrocketed with Putin's stupid war. However, he is not solely responsible for this - he was just a catalyst.
Now, fuel and gas prices went up - fair enough, a lot of that is imported from Russia... so we could say Russia is partly responsible for the price spike. Fine, but why did everything else go up too?
Why did internet prices almost double for example?! Do we import internet from Ukraine?! Why did garage and parking lot prices go up? Are those fueled by a steady stream of vodka and Alla Pugacheva hits?! NO!!!!
Every company just used the war as an excuse to raise the prices of everything. Hell, the company I work for is doing the same. Used car prices have gone up rapidly too. Corporations just had the perfect opportunity to do their thing, raise prices and have someone else (Russia in this instance) take the blame.
And now we are all paying the price and somehow it's ok, because the high prices exist so we can "punish" Russia. And that's BS too. The high prices exist, so greedy, rich corporations can be even richer.
