Why does she follow the others but not me?

This women who follows a few other people in an LGBT group I am in follows 2 other chicks I personally know on Instagram that she has only met maybe 2 or 3x. Yet when I followed her on Instagram she Never followed me back. With having said that we get along well in person, we always end up chatting a bit or dancing at the clubs all together. Her and I are Facebook friends but I cant help but wonder why she never requested to follow me on instant when she follows the other 2 people whom not only does she not know that well but they also dont have much on their Instagram, actually 0 images where as I have about 50 and my account is open

    Sometimes people follow who they think has the most "clout." A good friend of mine did this and it upset me. We were at prom & she asked me to take a picture of her with another girl from school who was pretty instagram famous. When I wanted to take a picture with her (and we were friends) she refused!
    Basically i think people just wanna feel cool and make themselves look good

      No definitely not the case, one women literally just made an insta so has 0 pics and hardly any followers. The other well she roo has 0 pics and I cant remember how many followers but not many

          Ah she is so nice in person, I saw her tonight and she helped me find my seat when I was at the cinema. I think I maybe over thinking
