Most of the people that hate broccoli just haven't imagined them as tiny little trees that's about to be devoured by a giant (you).... Or maybe it's just me.
That's how I looked at it when I was a little kid. I also looked at mashed potatoes as mountains, soup as an ocean with the meat and vegetables being boats floating on it and fish swimming in it, and I looked at fried eggs as creatures that bled (the yolk) when you cut into it
