Why does my hair always smell oily?

I wash my hair really good but it is always oily! How can I get the smell and oil out of my hair?

    My hair is also greasy as hell! It doesn't smell, thought. I've tried many tricks to balance the sebum but nothing worked. Only thing I recommend is using a natural, chemical free medicated shampoo.

    you most likely need a different kind of shampoo. also probably good to make sure you are washing you pillow/sheets frequently enough.

      Sometimes I will wash my hair with different shampoo because sometimes my hair gets used to the shampoo I use.

        I use Pantene and have found it pretty good at keeping my hair non-oily.

    Don't use chemicals. Only juices and berries.

    Some people overproduce sebum/ oil. Sometimes its hormones. Is your skin and face oily?
    Try spearmint extract or tea. Also vitamin C green tea and rosehip oil topically can help balance skin.
    Try Loreal Extraordinary Clay hair set, pre wash and shampoo.
