For no reason at all, but I voted to help. I do comment a lot on stories whether my comments are useless or useful, and if someone here asked me to help them, I wouldn't think twice. Aside from commenting, I spend a fair amount of time in the Member Chat just shouting gibberish. So I do socialize here with quite a few people since I've taken some friendships I made here outside of IIN. You have some pretty bad options up there, and it's sad that some people use the site to practice them.
On another note, correcting people's grammar is one of the most useless things I've seen people do.
