    It's funny most people have said hygiene. Yet pubes are there to stop bacteria and to prevent infection. Dirty bastards.

      Yeah, when you shave it can cut the skin in many places and I've heard that the advent of pubic shaving coincided with more STDs. When you've got open cuts down there (even tiny ones) it can help spread disease.
