I think that both men and women would be happier if they understood how sexual market value (aka desirability) works to pair alpha males with alpha females; and pair boy losers with girl losers. This process gets rid of bad genes faster, and enhances good genes faster.
For example, attractive women hate me because I am ugly. Dumb women hate me because I am smart. So I would have a smart ugly wife with smart ugly kids. Hey, somebody has to keep writing realtime control software.
