Why do white/asian guys date black girls?

I'm going to have a stab in the dark here & say because they find them attractive & are good company.

I thought it was the opposite, with black guys going after white girls.

Interesting. I rarely see a white guy and black woman. It's usually the other way around.

As long as they're happy, it shouldn't matter the race.

Perhaps you're dealing with your own insecurity about black women (or black people in general), and by calling them ugly gives you some control over the situation.

As a white guy who has dated a mixed woman, I think sometimes a person is still figuring out what or who they want in a relationship. I know the whole mantra is that it's somewhat racist to prefer your own race, but I do tend to think races should date their own. There were a lot of things I liked about the person I dated but I still look back and ask myself what I was doing. I think it can be the same as how someone dates someone too overweight or too skinny for them, too big of boobs, etc and then makes a point to date from a different pool going forward.

On another note, I think we get tired of the mundane same old friends and scenes. I think sometimes dating another race feels more exotic or special than it really is and then people actually get to know each other and it doesn't work out.
