Why do they say "You can not have your cake and eat it to"?

  • The original saying is you can't eat your cake and have it to. Meaning if you eat it, it's gone and you will no longer have it. Makes more sense that way.

    • Actually that way of looking at it makes a lot more sense. Since my view just makes whoever is telling you just mean selfish.

    • OOOH! That makes so much sense, I never clicked. I'm awful with phrases and stuff like that.

      Thank you:D!!

      • I'm sorry to bother you but could you start talking to Chewy again? He is sorry for saying that he will commit suicide and he won't do it again. Could you please forgive Chewy and talk to him again? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

        • Firstly, you're clearly not that sorry about bothering me with this trivial shit, otherwise you wouldn't do it, would you?

I have absolutely no interest in talking to chewy, regardless of his tendency to act pathetically in an attempt to get attention. I don't like him, I've never been fond of him, and why he is *still* bothering me over this is beyond me. It's not like I've ever considered him a friend. I'll repeat (since the stupid amounts of other times I've said this clearly weren't enough): I do *NOT* want to talk to chewy, be talked to BY chewy (or any of his other accounts). He is an awful person, and he makes IIN less enjoyable for me. I would rather leave IIN than spend any time talking to him.

Seriously, stop pestering me; it must have been over a year now, DROP IT. I've never been his friend, so why this is still an issue is beyond me. I'm finding it hard to express how much I DON'T want to talk to him, although I think I've expressed my disdain for him well enough.

Could you please tell Chewy (if this isn't him), to fuck off and never try to talk to me again? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.;)

          • I have a hard time understanding Chewy. He makes a lot of incoherent noises that im not able to interpret.
