Why do some of you spend so much time on here?

I worked 70+ hour weeks stuck in a guard tower so I thought I might as well spread some (100% factual) propaganda while I sit and get paid.

This is my only form of “social media”. I don’t see the difference between getting on for a couple minutes a few times a day is any different from you reading everything all in one day.

In my opinion it's not normal for you to be on the site 24/7. Like what makes you believe your opinions are so needed in our lives?? And that you're 100% correct all the time with little to no research! You can't possibly know every detail of our lives so what makes you think you're entitled to judge?? And be a jerk about stuff no less! You go on this site maybe once a week tops just to look at every single post and then share your unneeded opinion on every single post. It makes me feel sad for you. You are obviously so bored and insecure with your own pathetic life that you need to make other people feel like shit for wanting help with serious issues in their lives.

Some jobs have a lot of down time while still on the clock. Have to keep yourself entertained somehow.

I spend a lot of time here because I use the messages feature.
I comment on some topics but my opinion is nothing out of the ordinary, so I assume I shouldn't post much.

I'll tell you, instead, why I DON'T spend as much time here as I used to. There aren't as many funny, intelligent, friendly and witty users as there used to be. Now it's like a lame party with non-alcoholic fruit punch. :(

It's a place where more of my idiosyncrasies can happily jibe together without (many) people minding.

I just like to post my weird thoughts and get a census as this site's usage was intended. After which, I typically delete my post. Every now and again I actually read other people's posts and respond in hopes that it may help in some way.

This post is so dumb man. This site is literally a form or social media and most people spend way more time on snapchat posting dog filter pics or some dumb shit than people spend on here. It's funny and interesting and I have free time!

Because life gets stressful and I like being just a random anonymous user on a stupid website for a few minutes.

Also I like to think at least some of my advice is useful, even though I feel genuine calls for advice on here are getting fewer and further between.

Idk it's just something to do. I dont like regular social media. I like this format. I've looked for similar sites but have not found any. Reddit is terrible. There's a IIN chatroom that's ok when ur bored. There's a IIN discord too which can be cool and annoying at the same time. Depends whos on there.

Well, speaking for only myself, honestly I don't have much of a life anymore since losing a good part of my vision. I can't drive, very few people will hire someone legally blind so that leaves me with watch MORE TV, or play online looking for a woman VERY open minded. Or I could take a nap again.
