Why do so many people try to tell others how to live their lives?

People claim to want freedom and liberty but honestly a pretty decent percentalge LOVE authority. They can't live without somebody telling them what to do and patting them on the back for doing it correctly. Just look at this nonsense thats going on right now, people are cheering on the government as they blatantly violate the constitution on national and state levels. People actually WANT lockdowns that are destroying other peoples lives.

They think they know better.
Some truly does mean well, I find that is typically when a family member tells you how you should live (unless it's a toxic one) and when true friends do it, because they believe they know you best but even if they might know what would make you happiest in the long run, it should be your own decision what choices to make as an adult. It's best to just kindly disagree with them and say that they may have their opinion but that you don't need to hear it again. I think we've all had opinions about someone else's decisions wether we vocalized those opionions or not.

Well they just want to perceive your life as not normal so that is why they go ahead and do that. Yes I absolutely agree with you that people should shut the fuck up about how others live their lives. I am guilty of that myself but I just keep my mouth shut if someone tells me their life.
