Everyone who answered that its because of them being unhappy or lonely or sad and pathetic or whatever other nonsensical bullshit are just people who got trolled at one point or another and are still mad and bitter about it happening to them. Trolling in its purest form is an art, and is completely transcendental in its role as thee social experiment of social experiments and that cant be defined by a generic definition. It takes years of practice and training to master trolling.
Those of us that pray at the alter of Troll will always have a place on the Internet. We are the Yin to your Yang of anti-troll sentiment. We are the equation balancing itself out. We are waiting, always faithful.....
