why do people these days consider vampire shows/movies as girly?

    Twilight. The sole reason.

    Think about it. Vampires don't get hurt by sunlight. They sparkle. Pretty girly if you ask me.

    Ugh. Suddenly vampires aren't so cool to me anymore...
