Honestly bro, I wouldn't let these peoples words influence you. In my opinion, I don't think coming out would solve anything, it will probably just give them fodder.
As someone who used to be what could be called a "Homophobe", the people who mock you and alienate you for being gay are probably the people who don't know you very well, or who don't understand. I used to be this kind of person, until I was in a situation where I actually got to know and spend time with some gay people. That experience made me grow up and I came to realize that just because some one is gay, doesn't mean they are different.
The people who mock you are just ignorant. They don't understand that you probably watch the same tv shows and movies, probably listen to the same music etc as them. your sexual preference doesn't change that fact that your a normal person.
If your SURE that you are Bi, I would suggest coming out to your close friends (I would recommend female friends) as these are the people the least likely to have their opinions of you changed.
Just remember not to let other peoples words influence you. If your Gay, come out of the closet when your ready, not because of what people are saying to you. Don't rush into it.
Also on a side note, I wouldn't go coming out just yet, because I probably wouldn't say that your definitely Bi. Being "sort of attracted to one guy" probably doesn't quite count as full on Bi. You might just be confused, or curious, neither of which really count towards Homo or Bi sexuality. It just means your curious. Depending on your age, this is a possibility. Also, seeing as you sound metrosexual, its possible that other peoples opinions, and cultural influence have lead you to believe that your gay.
Hopefully you can sift through my bull shit and find something helpful in there. I tend to go on and talk out my ass.
Why do people mistake me for gay?
