Why do people make blanket statements when it comes to a racial group?

  • How do you mean?

If you mean the statement "There was a gay black gentlemen standing in the club, he came up and told me to give him my wallet, I said no its was my wallet and he punched me in the gut and said he wanted me to be his new Boy-toy" that is just being descriptive. It does not mean you are saying all gay black people are bad. Just that he happened to be a gay black man.

If you mean "All black people are horrible, always in their tricked out catalacks, head rags and baggy jeans shooting up the neighborhoods. I hate black people". They could either mean most blacks they see or that they have a preconceived notion they believe all black people fit in.

Authors note: No I do not dislike blacks or trying to attack black people by this commit.
