I lie to train my ability to lie. Just in the same way as I spend time here giving advice, in order to train my ability of giving advice. I want to become a good liar because I want to become a leader, and I need to know as much as I can about lying, because people love hearing lies and make their choices based on lies.
I wish I was living in a world where lies are not needed and I intend to be as clean and corruption-free as possible, but sometimes I simply cannot pass some stages of life/career without lying. People will select better liars for better positions and I will never be able to progress without lying. Then I will be judged and considered incapable of progressing. So I must lie sometimes and I must become really good at it. After those stages I want to be as honest as possible and I don't want to harm anybody in any way, especially not for personal interests.
In an imperfect world, we need imperfect statements to survive, and these are imperfect when they contain lies.
I don't believe it. Not a world where lies do not exist, but where lies are not needed. A world in which I don't have to lie to reach some certain levels, where systems are all fair and we are all evaluated impartially, so that everyone gets the right responsibilities based on their capacities.
Lying is part of our free will and people will always choose it at some point, but being forced to lie to obtain some benefits which were not intended to be delivered based on lies is a result of a damaged social environment and this is totally prevetable.
Why do people lie?
