Why do people get annoyed when i mention autism all the time?

It DOES define who I am, and I won't stop talking about it until ableism is dead. It is my biggest passion.

    it depends.. you can state important points when talking about it but bringing it up all the time and going on and on is rude. Everyone has shit to deal with in their own lives, not only people with autism.

      We prefer to be called "autistic people" or simply "autistics." Doctors and teachers are wrong and person-first language is a part of the problem I'm trying to fight. When you say we "have" autism, you're implying that we "have" a disease.
