  • I have a personal portfolio website for my work and through it I can express not only who I am but who I want to be and how I want people to see me. My life personally is not that exciting but my work lets me express a different more favourable side. Through social media you have a medium that you can control and manipulate in your favour. Of course people will take advantage.

I think that is great that you a personal website to express who you are. I was leaning towards those who actually become another person as a whole. An Internet thug etc. or people that love to take pictures of things they really done possess , yet want other to know what they have. My favorite , the people that want everyone to know what they’re doing every hour on the hour like they are so important. Like who cares?

People want others to think k highly of them, because they crave acceptance.

Yep! I agree. Looking for acceptance even as adults because as teenagers they were not accepted or cool. It’s a shame.

Because they were not that popular to begin with. Low self esteems growing up. They need and crave attention. Social media provided this to them and makes them feel important.

basically i am so reserved in person. online my looks are not there to weigh me down and i can say things easily. i will not offend anyone on purpose and am not creating a whole new reality, but i am a different person online.
