Rave is a hall for teenagers (mainly in England)to twerk, whine, lapdance, dance, rap, secure/control. So if you're in England and you say "I went to a rave on saturday"
Just note a lot of people will be asking
" Did you whine? Did you twerk? Did you give someone a lapdance?" Or
"Did you secure/control a girl? Did a girl twerk/whine/give you a lapdance?
England is not posh. If you come to South/North London or Peckham or Greater London, you'll get the streets.
