Thank you Dappled!
I appreciate knowing that, especially coming from someone who's comments I always enjoy.
Although, someone here doesn't like my posts (not that they must)... I noticed that someone went through my comments and gave them all a thumbs down. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. This was the only comment that didn't get bombed - it could be that your comment has influenced "them", like it often does.
I make an effort to not sugar-coat my comments and I try to focus on the words, chosen and presented by the original poster in their question. In those words are so many inadvertent clues to their biases, which tend to be the root of their worst problems. Most people don't enjoy those deep parts of them being exposed (I know I don't!), but when they are participating in an anonymous website, asking if they are normal or not, then we will serve it to them.
This site is entertaining and fun, despite whether people like your writing, or not.
Again, thank you. You are one of about 3-4 people on this site that I look forward to reading; your comments are insightful and candid.
I know a few weeks have passed since you posted this, but this happens to me too. To the extent where a lot of my comments (including historical ones) were being erased. Someone went to a huge amount of effort to wipe anything I said off this site. Freedom of speech, eh? Seems like left to our own devices, certain people really don't believe in it.
Why do nice guys always finish last!?
