Just to name two Khabib and Khamzat are two muslims you can google and they have beards but they shave their mustache off. This looks so weird. I never understood why they do that. A lot of muslims do this. Is it their religion? Why have a beard but no mustache? Thats not a beard
Believe me, because I'm a Muslim.
Not a rule. It's not supposed to be a religious thing. It's just that the first Muslims used to do this because it's more hygienic. Mustaches store bacteria. When you're drinking tea it falls in your cup which is not good. These types of reasons. The other Muslims thought it's a great idea. Others thought it's some Muslim thing and then Muslims got to know about this stereotype and started believing it themselves. Like the first Muslims did it because it's a rule, maybe they're right? It's some kind of coincidence
It's because the people who made it all up thought beards were bad fucking ass but then they got tired of their mustaches hanging over their lips so they made up some more shit about how you shouldn't have a mustache though. Same as the foundation of all religions: A bunch of dudes making up things that work for them.
I wonder if Khabib will ever go for 30.

But because it was a long time ago people somehow give it all a pass. The world wasn't magically different in the past so I just hold it to the same standards I'd hold it to today if someone tried to sell those stories to me. It all sounds crazy as fuck.
I figured it might be because khamzat has a cleff lip that would be hidden nicely by a mustache.
