Why do most people want the male to be taller?

I find it masculine. Plus I'm 5'1.. If my guy was shorter than me, he'd be really short.. So taller lol

I feel like if the man is shorter, I'm the soul one in charge and I sorta feel more masculine and I hate that. I'm only 5'3, so a guy any shorter is a freaking tiny thing.

I think it's because men are seen as the protectors. Back in early human history, if your male was larger, you stood a better chance of surviving because animals (or dinosaurs) didn't think of him as prey. :)

I'm a girl and I like my guy to be taller. It is even difficult for me to date shorter guys.

Natural dominant\submissive roles. If i were a woman i would feel stupid if my man was shorter than me.

Because of the media. If I see a couple and the male is shorter, I personally think they'd look adorable together.

answer is simple: biologically women are attracted to strong, healthy, and capable men. The dominance and height of men is sexually appealing to women; it is a fact the taller the more masculine (because most of the time men are taller than women)

That's justthe natural order of things.

Men are naturally taller than women and I think if women are with men who are shorter than them or men are with women who are taller than them, they feel like freaks of nature. I'm a woman and when I was a kid, I was taller than most people my age and it felt really awkward. Now I'm an adult and am shorter than most adults and it feels better than being taller than most.

It's weird but with a man I wan't them to be taller, with a girl i whan't to be the tall one.
I'm submissive with guys but I'm the man with girls, i thik it has to do with if you feel dominant\submissive.

I'm gay but I still prefer shorter guys, I suppose I like to be the dominant one.
