yeah it sounds like your mind doesn't spend too long in amplified emotions. you sound shy with conflict so you "drop it" mentally in you head. Maybe one is the negative feeling, even subconsciously, you may be getting from being mad or feeling of disappoint in someone and/or the situation. I see both ADD and depression...or anxiety in this. If you want to change though, they're both treatable. If you can control it and no one thinks the wiser, then it's something to slowly work on.
