Why do i feel like this?

I've recently been looking for a new job but all the jobs in my area wont hire me due to my lack of qualifications and the fact I've only had 3 jobs in my life doesn't help, I don't know what to do, I can't go back to studying due to the fact I already have a lot of student debt and I'm 22 now and fear that my life is going to waste, I feel so helpless, any ideas? I'd really appreciate it

I am 22 and have recently been in your shoes. It does feel like no one wants us without experience, and there is no way to get it if they don't take us. What has helped me is getting certifications (if you can't apply your education). There are many quick ones you can get. I have a certified nurse assistant license, CPR & First aid, motorcycle license, online educational courses etc. I also volunteer a lot to get new experiences to add to my resume, which has opened doors for jobs. Also, it is ok to have a job that is not as magical as you imagined. It is better to be a secretary for a year in a medical office, get paid, and be eligible to move up in the company- rather than nothing at all.

Try to just enjoy life for now. Working sucks anyways. Keep looking and while looking do whatever you wish. When you find work you won't have all this time.

3 jobs at 22 is pretty good. How many jobs at that age do you consider to be normal?

You say you lack qualifications but you have student debt - huh? Did you drop out?

Try out (paid) internships, preferably in the field you studied or a field you want to enter.

I'm not sure how it is outside the US, but if you're in America, now is a deceptively great time to go job hunting. Because of corona, there's a bonus $600/month to unemployed workers. Low-level job workers like restaurant staff are quitting in droves, staying at home and leeching off the system.

Their employers are going to be hungry for more workers. Don't be afraid to make some phone calls. You have nothing to lose.
