Im a boy, and I still wear underwear. But most people in my school wear boxers. So I want to know why so many people wear boxers over underwear in their teenage years.

My boyfriend told me that boxers are less restrictive and he doesn't get sweaty in them.
I switched from briefs to boxers after I graduated college. Briefs were fine while I was running around as a food server during college, but they became too snug when seated at a desk all day. Boxers worked great for my new office job.
Getting used to boxers outside of work was hit or miss, and it took a month before I could wear boxers with any of my pants or shorts and feel "normal". When a guy is used to supportive briefs, and then wears boxers, the newfound freedom is highly stimulating (just like freeballing). I dealt with random unwanted boners frequently. I was determined to adapt, and did not wear briefs once during the transition period.
After a month of boxers-only, I tried on my favorite pair of navy blue briefs. Not happening! They felt tight and uncomfortable. I laughed to myself that I successfully made the transition. That was 13 years ago. Last summer I found microfiber knit boxers that are the best. I still have 30 or so pair of briefs, and I'll never get rid of them, but I doubt that I'll ever wear them again as daily wear.
I only wear boxer briefs when I need support down there, like when I'll be standing or walking for long periods of time.
I used to wear boxers for a while bc my dick to big for underwear and then I went to boxer berifs and they are more comfortable and bc I i like to so off my stuff
