Uhh, you feel way more strongly for him than he does for you, possibly. It could also be that he just doesn't show affection, like, it's not a part of his personality. I have been on the receiving end of this enough times to know, he might feel the same but just not express it so freely. I USED to be the kind of person to do that but not so much anymore, just due to having had such poor results...
